Hi,

I'm hosting a website on a machine within my network.  Currently, I have 2 virtual servers set up. One that forwards traffic on port 8080 to my server, and another that forwards traffic on port 80 to the server.  The port 8080 virtual server works fine, but the port 80 server does not.  Has anybody else experienced this?

I've been really scratching my head on this one.  Even tried doing a factory reset, but the problem persists.  Right now the only way to access my website is to specify port 8080 in the url.

My gut tells me that it has something to do with Tp-Link's own management webserver running on port 80, but there does not appear to be any way to adjust this.  (Although you can adjust the http port used for *externally* accessing the router)

If anybody has any ideas on how to fix, I would be very gratefull.

I changed that port number once, you can check the menu under Advanced-system tools-administration

I personally did not bother with it myself and so just used the services of paid hosting. This has saved me a lot of time and I don't have to do it manually. Now I use a proven hosting service that I found at https://www.hostingcanada.pro for my site. He has very favorable terms, which cost me just a couple of bucks. It is important to find a really good hosting service so that there are no communication problems and there is enough space to upload content to the site. Currently, the presence of a site inspires confidence in customers, and it also makes it easier to communicate with them. Most of all operations now take place through the company's website. Therefore it is very important to take this issue seriously
