I have the WR841N v6/v7 Firmware 3.12.5 Build 100929

The router stops showing up after 30 minutes to 1 hour.
If I switch it off and on , it starts working normally but again suddenly stops and cannot be detected after 30 mts- 1 hour.

Kindly advise.

How about sys light when it stops? Upgrade the latest firmware, reset it and reconfigure it to see what happens.

Can you tell me what is your Network / WAN Connection Type as there are some option such as " Max Idle Time" which can explain this behavior.

Also make sure that you have the latest firmware installed according to this page as there are several fix in the latest firmware : http://www.tp-link.us/support/download/?model=TL-WR841N

I have exactly the same problem with the same router, only I have firmware 3.13.9 Build 120201 Rel.54965n because I have just updated today.

I tried everything I could.
Restore to factory, restart everything, checking the cables. Pinging the gateway was successfull.

I'm connected with a pc as wired and with a laptop as wireless. The whole network is lost after every one hour or so, as both devices loses the network. There is nothing unusual on system lights. I have to reboot or restart the router and then everything's fine for another hour or so.

I had no problem at all with this router for 2 years. But this is getting frustrating now. Any idea?

I had this kind of problem with my new WDR4900 and the initial firmware.
As it disappeared after an upgrade, I think it's a bug into the firmware...
