Web interface dies after 12 days operation. Can still access internet (with some clients)
Region : Bulgaria
Model : TL-WR1043ND
Hardware Version : v1.8
Wireless: on
UPnP: Enabled
Load: 1 client (Desktop PC) - LAN - 1 Gbps, 6 clients (Notebook, Tablet, 2 Android Phones, PS3, Smart TV) - WiFi
firmware Version : 3.13.12 Build 121210 Rel.73912n (Beta) ----- upgrade from Build 120405
ISP : Megalan, static IP, 50 mbps
Best uptime - 12 days
web interface still dies, not like before, but dies :(
My second and third experience with this Firmware showed a complete failure.
first time stuck on the third day, the second of the fifth...
I do not know whether to continue to wait for a working firmware from you or put ddwrt/openwrt.

Hi, after several days blaming my ISP provider, I noticed that it was not navigation what I lost but also and every time, connection to the antenna itself. I found this forum while googling my problem and found this beta FW. I just upgraded my antenna and wanted to share my results.
Region : Argentina
Model : TL-WR1043ND
Hardware Version : v1.9
Wireless: on, 11bgn mixed
UPnP: Enabled
USB: 1TB hard drive Hitachi. Media, Storage and FTP Servers started.
Load: 6 clients (2 Notebooks, 1 Android Phone, 1 Symbian Phone, XBOX, 1 HP printer) - WiFi - Printer with reserved IP, remaining ones with DHCP
firmware Version : 3.13.12 Build 121210 Rel.73912n (Beta) - upgrade from Build 120405
ISP : Fibertel, Dynamic IP, 6 mbps
20 minutes up since upgrade and I'll keep everyone posted on it's behavior. I noticed that everyone reported HW version 1.8 so I'm the first one with 1.9
Best regards everyone.

for me beta firmware doesn't solve web interface die
2013-02-01 17:34:20
my router 1043nd web interface die after a week, and i wrote to tp-link on email and i don't receive any answers from them for my issue.
my hardware version is V1.9 the latest i think, and the beta firmware doesn't solve the problem, the internet access is OK, but the web interface is not accessible.
i notice that when the problem occurs, the SYS led in OFF and not blinking on green
i'm notice to one more interesting something, when i'm using the USB Port to copy large files to the usb stick on the router, and the router is very burden the interface
will die even earlier then usually, it seems that my unit is overloaded when i copy huge files (3GB) to the usb connected to the router, and then the SYS led stop working
and the interface of the router is crashing.
thanks in advanced and waiting from administrators to response as soon as possible to solve this issue once and for all.

In my case, after some experiments with my router, I've found out the reason of my router's hanging. I think, this router's stock firmware has poor tolerance of DoS attacks.
jorgecorazondeleon was right in his previous post about dos attacks.

settings to change in router
2013-02-02 05:23:22
and there is something that i can change to block this attacks to influence my network? i saw in the settings that there is a dos attack protection and it's on.
it should help to us.
somebody know when tp-link is release a new stable firmware? i reflush my router from the beta to:
Firmware Version: 3.13.13 Build 120605 Rel.38634n
Hardware Version: WR1043ND v1 00000000
this is the latest stable version of the unit that i downloaded from tp-link website.
if the beta is really solved the web interface issue? because in my case it's not solved nothing.
and i resetting the router using a backup configuration file, but the advanced wireless setting short GI is grayed out.
do i need to reset to factory default after i returned to old firmware?
thanks
;)
