I have the same problem but will not install the beta, since the tplink admin seem not very worried about our consumer problems. So many time without a single update. I think that is time for me to get away from TP-Link. They show no respect with consumers after the sales. It's very awnfull to buy a router and have to reboot by taking the energy off every day because the web interface dies always.

More than 2 months and no reply from the administrator.

Let's hope some solution or use dd-wrt :P

I noticed that the hardware version on mine (version 1.10) using the latest "official" release of firmware that the hangs appear to happen less often. But they still do happen, and appear to be unprovoked to any activity on the network.

The very same issue manifests itself even with another firmware such as DD-WRT and from what I've gathered it's a hardware issue, pure and simple.

The only solution is to buy another router from another brand. I have never, ever had such unstable hardware in a router. Due to the fact it's still somewhat "working", my vendor refused to exchange or refund it, which really adds insult to injury. I don't think I'll ever buy a TP-Link product again, what a ripoff!

Yep, that's what they told me at Israel representative of TPLINK when I called them to fix my router by warranty. They told me it's a hardware issue with the chipset... and suggested to replace it with 941ND model or something like that! What a shame!!!!

Anyway, does anyone checked thoroughly about the 3rd party firmwares: DD-WRT/OpenWRT/Gargoyle ? May be, after all, it gets a little more stable with one of them ?

I have a WR941ND v3 and also had the same problem as WR1043ND.
I Install also the gargoyle 1.4.7 and works perfectly.
Not a hardware problem is software.
I have also two wr1043nd
I installed in one, gargoyle firmware 1.5.9 and works perfectly so far (18 days), never been hung.
At the other,i have tried several officers firmware and beta
None works fine, crashes every day.
