Model: RE450
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: RE450(EU)_V2_171220

I purchased RE450 yesterday but didn’t receive new V3 version but still V2

Which are the differences ? Would you advise me to return it ?

Hi,

There is no big difference between RE450 V2 & V3. They both support Tether app, access point mode and so on.

So you still can use the RE450 V2 to extend the wifi range.

For further more information, you can read the user guides.

May it help and have a nice day.

Hi
thank you Kevin,
but do you think that is acceptable that I received two days ago still V2 version ?

V3 version  isn't so recently..for me is produced by at least one year

Hi,

At my end, to be honest, I think it is acceptable, reasons are below:

1. There are some stocks available now even though the latest is V3 already.

2. The RE450 V2 is still in sale, and it is not end of life yet.

Back to your case, if you care about the hardware version, you can exchange a V3 unit.

Note: We can find the hardware version on the box.

Good day.

I see, I totall understand. If so, you can contact the retailer and change another V3 unit.

Good day.
