Cannot login to admin from another IP range.

Hello,
I have a problem logging into the administration from another IP range. The login screen appears, but nothing happens when you press the "sign in" button.
My range is 192.168.0.0/24, the device is 192.168.2.253(/24), the routers are set up correctly, all devices in the 192.168.2.0/24 range are available.

For example, changing the language works so the device communicates.

Are you able to access the extender from the same local network?
What is the current network topology? Have you open the port for the extender on the main router's web UI?
Try to use the IP and port number to access it from another IP range.
Meanwhile, can you access other devices in 192.169.2.x from the 2nd IP range, which is 192.168.0.x?

Yes - I'm able to connect (and login) from IP range 192.168.2.0/24.
I'm able to connect but NOT LOGIN from IP range 192.168.0.0/24.
Extender - IP: 192.168.2.253, netmask 255.255.255.0, gw: 192.168.2.254
My PC: 192.168.0.10, netmask 255.255.255.0, gw: 192.168.0.1
Tracert from my PC:
C:\Users\Petr>tracert 192.168.2.253
Tracing route to 192.168.2.253 over a maximum of 30 hops
1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms router.lan [192.168.0.1]

Trace complete.
Devices from 192.168.2.0/24 are able to connect (ping, SSH, Samba,...) to devices from 192.168.0.0/24 subnet (routes, no NAT).

P.S:
I purchased a TP-Link RE200 for testing, which I set up identically and it works including access to administration. I will log in without any problems. So the TP-Link TL-WA850RE must have a firmware error.

It seems that the filter rules on 2 extenders are different which causes this issue.
While to locate it, please tell us the current network topology. How do you setup the 2 networks with different subnets.

Main router - 192.168.0.1
My PC - 192.168.0.10
Second router - 192.168.0.253 on WAN, 192.168.2.254 on LAN interface
WiFi Repeater connected to second router over Wifi - IP 192.168.2.253
Other devices behind the second router - IP from 192.168.2.0/24 range
All the devices in the network are accessible to each other. Routing is set correctly.

Thanks for your clarification and I have confirmed as well.
It is the security filter rules possessed by the TL-WA850RE which causes this issue; even though you open the port for the extender, while once you access it remotely, the extender (old version) will detect the IP as an invalid IP and won't respond. That is why you can see the login page but failed to access it.
While the new extender has modified this feature, like the RE200; it can be accessed remotely.

Thank you for your answer, I understand, but do I have to buy a new extender? Will it be fixed as part of the firmware update? Certainly I am not the only one in the world who is concerned about this property and does not want to buy new equipment. :-(

It is more like a hrardware limitation, while the extender is still working just cannot be accesses from another subnet. You can use it to extend the wifi range.
