Problem with wired and wireless connection

Region : Brazil
Model : TL-WDR4300
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 3.13.23 Build 120810 Rel.44064n
ISP :
I bought a router last week and I have been experiencing some problems. I have found no solutions up until now.
First of all, by connecting the router to my desktop through wire, it doesn’t generate any IP address, except for 169.254.x.x.. I already tried configuring the IP to static mode, but nothing changed, I can’t even access the router’s interface, however, if I try the same thing (connecting the router through wire) with my notebook and netbook, I get the IP without any problems.
The second problem is related to the wireless connection. When I try to connect my smartphone (Motorola XT860) I get the IP normally and supposedly internet connection, however the connection only lasts for a few seconds, after that I am incapable of accessing even the router’s interface (again). If my smartphone stays connected to the router, nothing else works even for other connected devices, but when I disconnect my smartphone, all the other connections resume as if nothing happened. I already tried changing the Beacon Interval, the Address Lease Time, and so on, but nothing has worked.

Please try DNS 200.204.0.10 and 200.204.0.138 click SAVE and next will make reboot your router. After that configuration try connect with your network.

jimasek, the problem isn't with the internet, but with my desktop, that can't get an ip address and the smartphone, that freeze the whole router.
Did you think that DNS will resolve it?

I think so, we have to check this possibility. My next question, please check your IP address on desktop after wire connection with router. If you know ipconfig /all and give us the screenshot.

Hey, didn't work. I tried to change the DNS and still freezing the router when i connect my smartphone.
As i said in the post, the only ip that i can get is 169.254.x.x. (in the desktop). Even when i try set a manual ip don't work.

Do you have active network cards? Please will check in your Device Manager in Windows.

I do. It's a onboard card, a NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller and works fine, i think, because right now i'm using my old router to connect this PC, the desktop, to the internet.
