Default username and password not working

I have been trying to reset the router so that I can log in to http://tplinkwifi.net/ with the default username and password but having done a reset several times (by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds until the router restarts), the login of admin and password admin are not working. Have I missed something?

It is probably cache problem, so try to delete cache or use incognito mode. Try another browser. Check, if you really reset it by checking SSID of your wireless network. Try to open 192.168.0.1, but not tplinkwifi.net

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. I ALSO RESET SEVERAL TIMES - IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL. I MEAN IT WORKS AND I CAN SEE IT'S ON WIFI BUT IT WON'T CONNECT TO MY NETWORK.

@joannas11 what I did was try to go to web address to fix but computer warns me that info can be stolen. I kept playing with an entire day, plugging unplugging, etc. only the light for being on would come on. But if you go to the tether app snd on the top left where there are lines, I re-entered my password and name for new router and it started working again. It took over an entire day playing around with it to get it to work again which is a major pain.
