TL-WN822N are disrupting my USB ports

I have a Dell Dimension 2400 running XP. My TL-WN822N is working fine but has caused my other USB ports to malfunction.
My external hard drive & external DVD drive are not recognised & my printer doesnt work. (my USB wireless mouse & keyboard work ok).
I have tried reinstalling USB ports but to no avail.
