hi, Kevin.
I also got same issue, already a month or so
Archer C9 (US) v4.0
IC : 8853A-C9V4
Firmware : 1.0.1 Build 20171218 rel.57874(5553)
on further test, random reboot only happen when dual band is active, but it is ok on single band despite 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz.
the symptoms was :
1. On heavy traffic like 4k stream @5Ghz, or copying to NAS. But on low traffic it just work.
2. The router led will light up 'all of them' then reboot. (power reboot)
3. Or the router powed led will blink but the device doesn't reboot, it restart the wifi service?
4. On single band it just work flawlessly, tested heavy traffic.
5. Reset twice doesn't work.
In the end throw some buck to split 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wifi.
Maybe later gonna reset again, for test.

try this patch - upgrade the firmware (only via ethernet cable, disable wifi and make sure power is on all the time)
was improving the connection for me.
