Deco M5 Firmwsre Update v1.4 available 10 Jan 2020
In the changelog, it says that v1.4 will disable WAN ping requests. I wanted to confirm if this update will allow us to choose whether we want to disable it or if it will just disable it with no way to turn it on?

@NavarroOne you can open the web interface by entering the web address tplinkdeco.net OR the IP address of your Deco in the address bar.
From there you can flash firmware upgrades. You should wait for a support member to confirm if it is safe to downgrade in this case.

@NavarroOne hmmm. I've read cases of people downgrading on this forum. We should wait for support team to take a look.

@NavarroOne @Potato55 can you go to http://tplinkdeco.net/ ---> Advanced -----> System ------> Logs and post the logs here. That should shed some light on what's going on.

Hi,
I updated yesterday my M5's to 1.4. WAN ping is the only feature I'd really like to have. I'm using it to monitor network availability.
