My wireless extender refuses to configure.

It was working one day and then all of a sudden stopped. It wasn't touched and nothing changed.

The extender won't let me configure it using the disk. I receive errors such as "Failed to search the device - ip address of device input invalid".

This hasn't worked for weeks now and there are no solutions anywhere

It seems that the IP address of the range extender is the same as your wireless main router? If the CD is not working, you can try to configure it manually. Hope this link can help: http://www.tplink.com/en/article/?faqid=357
