As we speak is he very unstable.... i'm working on a MS Surface and he restarted two times the Deco's because no wifi.

possible solution is to connect main deco to experiabox from the main deco cat cable to slave and one deco wireless.

 

So far so good.

might  be working but I bought them as access points so I could keep my current setup in place. My current router and dhcp server is even a to-link one 🤨

My mesh was stable for the day all devices connected without issue and running well. Then about 30 minutes ago for no apparent reason and no changes to the system it fell over again.

 

when it does this it goes into a loop of crashing coming back up running ok for two minutes and the. Crashing again and on it goes. Packing up the mesh tonight to send it back. Just not fit for purpose and far to temperamental.

too bad. Did anyone from to-link reach out to you? I didn't hear a thing.

Nothing via the forums but did spend some time with their technical support yesterday but to no avail and got no where near identifying the root cause. Feels like the product is too early a release and needs another firmware update to address whatever the instability is and to put some form of debug logging capability so you can have a half a chance at identifying root causes.

A couple of minutes ago internet connection lost for 15 minutes. So no solution yet. Tomorrow I call tp link again.

agee it was launched too early. Every day I am hoping to get a new firmware update. I am a little surprised no one from to-link is responding on this forum.

while running it in router mode?

No behind Kpn experiabox it isn’t possible to set tp link deco in router modus only in accesspoint modus.
