X60 (hotspot mode) very unstable
I recently bought a X60 set and the total solution is very unrialable
I recently bought a X60 set and the total solution is very unreliable. I did manage to setup the network and I am able to connect devices. Are a while the network is gone. When I checked the x60 devices the leds were flashing red and turned green again after a while. Any idea what the problem could be? There is no (readable) logging available so I don’t have a clue how to debug the situation.
I have 3 x60s and they are connected to my router in access point mode.

You could set the KPN router in bridge mode I would expect. Nevertheless you would expect it to be stable in every mode.....

@Sjek In my case, Deco X60s were working like a charme, until this am a "database security update" was pushed. It all fell apart.
Tech support told me to reset the Decos and pick a new one as Main Deco, which I did. It all got back online fine, until after 1hr, the same "database security update" was pushed and everything became unstable again.
So I believe the database security update is the issue, but I am not sure about what to do, nor how to stop the update from happening...

I am almost at the point that I will return it to the shop. Might be an idea for you as well.

I still have the problem. It seams that I only have issues when my Microsoft Surface laptop connects to the main deco. When I initially connect to another Deco than the main one I never had the issue.

@Heino76 I find the common factor for mine doing the yellow, red, then green set of lights is Microsoft Teams call - whether it's on my Mac or on my Surface Book 2.

recently TP-Link release a firmware update addressing this issue. I've updated my
Decos and I will keep an eye on it the coming days.

I have the same issue. I have a 3 X60 system, main one connected to modem, the other two connected via ethernet to the main one. Light switches from green to blinking red constantly on both secondary units. They´re both actually almost always in red, but occasionally they turn green. Main unit is always green.
Have not noticed any issues with connectivity on my system, but having the red blinking lights is anoying and want to be able to fix this.
