Hi,

 

I just bought a new computer and wanted to use my Archer T4U v2 to connect to the wifi.

 

Now I find myself disconnecting quite often and when playing games like Apex I get the "connection to server timed out" notification very often (for apex for instance it is every game).

 

I also used this adapter with my old pc and I also encountered similar problems at first. After a while I found a driver and changed some settings that made my connection stable for most of the time but sadly I can't seem to find the driver or settings I used.

 

I was hoping somebody could help me fix this problem.

Hi, 

I found this similar issue too. 

1. My T4U V3 keep disconnecting 

2. I tried with many driver and tried to use this device with other pcs

3. Also, tried to config on the router (2.4 ghz/5ghz) like change the channel

 

 

How to install beta driver with Device Manager right? 

Do you have any suggestion or solution?

I already tried the beta driver via Device Manager. 

- For 2.4ghz, It's look fined: stable connection, no disconnect but got low speed and high latency

- For 5ghz, not getting better: still disconnected, very low speed 

 

Do you have any solution ?

Hi @Kathy_Z, The new driver that you suggested, still not working..  

I attached the speed test.

@Kennyboy2502 I am having the same issue. Using Archer T4U v3, latest driver, formatted my Windows 10 Pro 64Bit still having the packet loss issue. Not able to play games and streaming at all.

 

I get packet loss of anywhere 1~30% and unstable pings as well.

 

 

 

I do have another TP-Link wifi receiver model TP-LINK AC1900 Archer T9UH and it works fine. No issue at all. Tested on 2 PCs & 1 Laptop.

 

TP-LINK AC1300 Archer T4U is a faulty product! or its driver.

 

Please fix this TP-Link support.

I have the same issue! Packet loss, the same way! It's not possible to use this adapter. While on PCI TP-LINK 802.11ac Network Adapter  works absolutely fine. Can support check on this?
