Model: Archer AX1500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.7 Build 20191206 Rel. 8935(4555)

Hello Tp-link users,

I had recently bought this wifi6 Ax10 rooter and after a few days the 5ghz band keept disconnected or become unavailable.

At first a restart of device had fix the issue. Now restart doesn't work anymore and the only why it is working now is by manually setting Ch. With to 20Mhz and Chanel to 36

Also noted that the 5Ghz internet speed test had dropped from 400Mbs to ~85Mbs with comment that rooter position and device hasn't changed (same distance) and Cable direct connection reports over 400Mbs.

Any ideas?

Br,

Nicu

I have the same problem with this model. The router asked me to do a firmware update at the first setup, so I don’t know if this is the problem. Is there a way to roll back the update?

@FlorinU, unfortunately there was nothing TP-Link local support or I could do to fix described issue. In the meantime others had the same issue.
I have request and received full refund and booth a more expensive rooter AX3000.
I have it since almost three mounts now and it works well.
