Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.6 Build 20200121 rel.54912

Hello,

I'm back, but still no TP-Link feedback from my previous post "https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/192346" ... HomeCare has now expired and when I check the "Tether" app, it says expiration date January 1, 1970 on the HomeCare tab. The Antivirus part of Homecare no longer works, both Parental Control and QoS can no longer be accessed on the app. I thought that when the HomeCare service expires, we would still be able to have at least the Parental Control and QoS function but it seems not.

What is going on TP-Link ? HomeCare service is for 3 yrs upon registration on the website.

Since i'm already at this point, might as well ask if Parental Control, QoS and Bandwidth Control can be integrated back into the Archer AX50 web interface (not thru APP)  just like the old versions of the TP-Link routers which was a great feature and a good sales point since most users want to have these 4 things on a router > (dhcp reservation, parental control,QoS,bandwidth control) . If all your new firmware has these features, sales of your routers would double or triple.

I hope this gets addressed soon.

Just an update, I checked the "Tether" app today 14/04/2020, and the expiration date is now July 02, 2020. Its an improvement but still not the 3 year full subscription but thank you TP-Link for the fast temporary solution.

I hope when July 02,2020 comes the HomeCare service/subscription problem will be ironed out.

If I may suggest, have the HomeCare UI aslo active thru the WebUI, the AX6000 has it on the WebUI why not the AX50 ? Is it because of RAM restriction that the HomeCare UI is only on the "Tether" app or just marketing ? Can we have the "Bandwidth Control" feature back in the WebUI, it really helps when having multiple people using the internet at the same time. QoS and Bandwidth Control goes well together.

I've read abit about the Intel / Lantiq chip (GRX350) that powers the AX50 , its a nice chip. I hope TP-Link can further optimize its firmware for it.

Thanks again.
