Hey folks,

 

I have a 2Gbps home internet connection.

 

Now, I know that the Deco M5's only have 1Gbps ethernet ports in them, but they seem to be capping out at 600Mbps each way while doing the test from the Deco app...

 

Other devices connected to my ISP router can get the full bandwidth.... do we know why I see this cap over Ethernet?

I've tried new ethernet cables and other ports... Any idea?

I have the same problem.

When I use the router mode, fine, I get full bandwith.

When I switch it to access point mode, suddenly the speed drops to around 600Mbps, regardless of the actual bandwith from ISP.

I tested in different locations, it looks like 600Mbps=max speed for access point mode.

Don't know whether Tp Link can fix that.
