Archer C6 v2.0 - connected to wireless, full signal, no internet
Hello!
I have been having problems with this router (Archer C6 v2.0), regarding 2.4 Ghz wireless internet.
I have several lan ports connected, all working properly, and stable (no disconnects).
My incoming connection is 1000 mbit. PPOE connection.
All my devices (phone, laptop) can connect to the 2.4 ghz internet, and it shows full signal, but most of the time it does not work, or timeout is very big, it will not load pages, or anything. 5Ghz internet works fine, and stable. After restart it works normally, but after a few minutes internet will stop working again on the 2.4 ghz band. I live in a house, and there is no other wireless router in the area. Howewer, I have tried changing channels, channel width to 40 Mhz, all with same problems after a few minutes.
The firmware is up to date, I have already checked. Can anyone provide a solution for this problem?
Best regards,
User

I've very similar problem (also C6 router). Wifi is almost not working - the speed sometimes drops to 1Mbps. After reset it is working a while (sometimes is several minutes, sometimes hours). The problem is on laptop (Windows 10), smathphones (Android) and also TV (Samsung Tizen). On lan is working fine. I've try to changed channel width and channel no. but didn't help. Below please find screen from PingPloter

@Bafoo There is a new firmware update. Can you check it out, see if it works better? I just installed, will post a response after more testing. What test can I run to test internet continuity over a period of at least 1-2 hours?

I have the same problem. Enter to check on the TP Link website and I did not find the new update, could you tell me where? The last one available and that I have installed is December 2019.

@Fox23 You should check in the router settings, Advanced > System Tools > Firmware Upgrade > Check for upgrade.

same problem here. Latest firmware did not solve it.
Did anyone consider downloading openWrt firmware?
Currently the router is not usable for me, I have to restart it several times a week, in some situations this is very inconvenient.
I tried a reboot schedule each day, but that does not help.

I have decided to send the product into warranty. I hope they will fix it or replace it.
