Archer C6 v2.0 - connected to wireless, full signal, no internet
Hello!
I have been having problems with this router (Archer C6 v2.0), regarding 2.4 Ghz wireless internet.
I have several lan ports connected, all working properly, and stable (no disconnects).
My incoming connection is 1000 mbit. PPOE connection.
All my devices (phone, laptop) can connect to the 2.4 ghz internet, and it shows full signal, but most of the time it does not work, or timeout is very big, it will not load pages, or anything. 5Ghz internet works fine, and stable. After restart it works normally, but after a few minutes internet will stop working again on the 2.4 ghz band. I live in a house, and there is no other wireless router in the area. Howewer, I have tried changing channels, channel width to 40 Mhz, all with same problems after a few minutes.
The firmware is up to date, I have already checked. Can anyone provide a solution for this problem?
Best regards,
User

I guess I will just send mine back to Amazon because TP-Link doesn't seem to care about their customers

I have talked to Romanian TP link support, but except a not working beta firmware (had same problem, even worse), they couldn't help me. They recommended to send the product to service.

I think I found a workaround.
Bgn mixed mode is not stable. I selected gn mixed mode and the router is stable for 1 week now... Hopefully it stays stable.

so still TP Link router sucks
this is before router reset - how You can see on the graph download is starting from about 50mbps and after 2-3s drop to 0-2mbps. Upload looks different becouse it looks like it freez - it starts from ~70mbps, drop to ~17 and stay till end of the test (don't even change 0,01mbps).
