Wi-FI issues after firmware update (Archer C6, T4E)
Wi-FI issues after firmware update (Archer C6, T4E)
Hi everyone,
Two days ago, I've installed the new firmware version on my Archer C6, which introduce OneMesh feature. Since than, I have problems with my desktop, I'll trying to explain:
when I connect my PC on 5 GHz, I'm experiencing more latency and slower connection, resulting an increased ping and a really bad gaming experience; instead, with 2.4 GHz all seems fine as before. The strange thing is that the problem exists only on my desktop because the other devices don't show any issues. I think that the problem is connected to my Wi-Fi card, a TP-Link T4E, updated with latest driver available on the website.
Any solutions? Thanks
P.S. I've already tried to change Wi-Fi Settings (also txBF, and MIMO) , downgrade Windows and re-install drivers for TP-Link T4E. Nothing seems to work

Exact same issues, have ordered Mikrotik but hope I can save the C6. Also Archer T3U usb dongle, formatted PC even and shouted at ISP...
I have also logged case, saw lots of DHCP requests in logs(almost like ddos) and high CPU usage after upgrade.

Any updates/solutions on this? I am too experiencing wifi stability issues on my Archer C6 (firmware 1.3.0 Build 20200402). Random disconnects & fluctuating speeds. Currently put my old Archer C2 back since it provides a stable wifi connection.

I'm actually using the 1.3.4 Build 20200512 firmware's version. I haven't noticed any improvement over the previous release. I'm seriously disappointed. I've had these problems for two months (at least) and I'm thinking of changing my router...
