Archer C5 v4 00000004 - 5ghz wifi signal frequent dropping
Dear members -
In India, i recently got TPlink Archer C5 v4. Surprisingly, i dont find this model name onn the TPlink list.
My issue is with the 5GHZ wifi signal. 5GHZ signal drops every 5 to 12 mins and reconnects again. I am also connected via 2.4ghz via same router and dont face any such issue at 2.4ghz. This issue starts as soon as i am on 5ghz. I have 5ghz on auto channel and channel width as 20MHZ and 2.4ghz on channel 11 and channel width at 40MHZ. I have tried 5GHZ at different channels and channel width but result has been the same of frequent signal dropping.
Can someone please help me guide? Thanks for your help.

India region does not have a firmware listed on their website,
the issue with archer c5 v4 india variant, please contact customer care
Flashing firmware from different region may brick the device as frequency vary based on region, as for hardware support for the freqency.
I too am facing similar issue.

Same problem with ACT Fibernet Router. I got an Archer C5 v4. It is running a beta firmware. TP-Link needs to fix this issue immediately on priority and provide a firmware update to ACT Fibernet so that all devices are upgraded. I can't use the router with frequent disconnections.

The firmware here is multilanguage firmware which means it can be used on any Archer C5 v4 device.
