This question has probably been asked very frequently but here it goes.

Im living out in a very rural area and have no access to any wired network connections hence why ive bought the 4G router.

Unfortunately, the house is a new build so has all the latest insulation, plaster boarding and triple glazed windows its near impossible to get a decent signal using the router indoors and the strength is very poor even beside windows. So i was wondering if i could add an external ariel so that i could put it outside and connect to the router inside bringing the cable through a window? I know i can get almost 60 MB+ outside but inside it drops to 1-2 MB. If this can be done what is the best option or ariel i can get for maximum performance and reliability? Obviously most of that part falls on the service provider.
