Slave Deco connect to Main Deco via ethernet cable

Hi,
i wanted to connect my slave deco to the main deco via Ethernet cable NOT wifi.
should i do any special setup? I just literally plug the ethernet cable and the slave deco still shows the signal source as wifi

Depends on the Deco unit you have. With the M5s I have, I set them up to the same network by Wifi first, then just plugged in the one I wanted on ethernet. It automatically connected the backhaul over wired.

@iam_h I have a CAT6 cable between master M9+ and slave M9+, I just set it up with Wifi first and measured the download speed, then connected the CAT6 cable and measured the download speed again. The difference was obvious, the cable is used.
