Dear TP Link!

I have been struggling with the weak, unreliable signal of the TL-WR1043ND router for about 2 years. The router is in the large room of the 47-m2 panel apartment. 1000mbps internet is available via optical cable.
Apart from the 16 square meter large room, the WiFi signal is very unreliable in the rest of the apartment. I've tried a lot of things before. I changed some of the antennas to 8dB, basically nothing improved, only the signal in the big room got better. Recently, I bought an extension cable for a Wifi antenna, to the center of the apartment, I put the 8dB antenna on it. Even so, the internet is unreliable in the rest of the apartment. Even in the great room only approx. -55dB signal strength, most of the neighbors WiFi Routers give a stronger signal, up to -35, -38, -47dB signal strength.
I do not understand!!!!
If I put in another router, such as a CISCO router, it will give a much stronger signal in the apartment without having an external antenna.
My TL-WR1043ND router settings:
- 3.16.9 Build 150514 Rel.72381n
- Hardware Version: WR1043ND v3 00000000

- IP: 192.168.2.1

- Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
- WAN: Dynamic IP
- Wireless Radio: Enable
- Mode: 11bgn mixed
- Channel Width: Automatic Channel: Auto (Current channel 4)
- WDS Status: Disable
- Region: Hungary

- Optical modem IP: 192.168.1.1
- 5-9 devices use the signal at the same time, that's why I bought this model with 3 antennas. I thought it would be appropriate.

I also tried to solve the problem by choosing channels or updating the firmware. Unsuccessful so far.

Maybe this Router is unable to meet the internet needs of a simple, average apartment, or is I setting something up wrong?

Regards:
Erik
