Deco P9 Signal Source confusion
I recently updated to the latest version (20200513 Rel. 52023) and since then it shows signal source in the app (attached screenshot). I am confised to as what is the Signal Source for the unit here? i.e; is it WiFi backhaul or powerline? or both?

@ncoder007 if you use an extension cord, a bad one, the PLC sign will disappear. But I would an explanation as well.
It would be very good if one could test out the signal strenght through PLC, since AV1000 is definately not achievable.

We'll have to probably wait for another firmware update to get more out of P9s. Look at how long they took to come out with the current firmware I am guessing next one will be in 2021 April. :(

@Momcho I was just checking it a few days ago and I couldn't believe that the last update was in January 2021. I went from recommending the devices to strongly getting people of not buying them. This is ridiculous.

@LaMpiR Same here, searching for another solution to change in my home and to my clients. The tech support is useless.
You can check my topic here - https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/526746 . "Beta" firmware is actualy debug firmware ;)
@TP-Link Do you think to speed up the development, or developers are home office?

@ncoder007 Yes I've got the same issue too. The whole point of the P9 is the powerline backhaul. However I have no idea what backhaul is being used given the confusing detail shown in the Deco app. It's crazy that this is still an issue 2 years later.

@Turnip Yes, because I have received the last update long time ago.
It seems that they have given up from this alltogether and they don't even give out any information about it.
