HI,

I'm not sure if I've bought the right device or not, trying to setup this router to act as a wireless bridge does anyone have an ideas?

I've changed IP address to match my network, enabled WDS bridging, attached to my wifi (status page say 'run' although it doesn't show up as a connected device on my BT hub 3?) switched off DCHP, PC connects via wire but doesn't see internet.

Hi,

WDS is delicate to set and doesn't work with all devices because there is no standard.
Do you use the same wireless channel?
Is the encryption and MAC filtering correct?

Does the BT hub also support WDS?As far as i knew,the TP-LINK WDS requires the main router also support the same WDS techinic. Otherwise, it will cause the compatible issue. Instruction for WDS http://www.tp-link.com/en/article/?faqid=227

Hit the nail on the head home hub 3 does not support WDS or at least you can't get to it. So in the market for another cable router I think that works well with BT fibre modem

Maybe a repeater or a range extender can meet your requirement with BT3.
