Promotional URL Error in version 4.1.5
Promotional URL Error in version 4.1.5
Hello,
When configuring the promotional URL you want clients to be redirected to after authenticating with a captive portal, the URL is not accepting the / character, which most URLs contain.
For example, if I put in www.facebook.com, that's fine, but if I try to specially put in my business facebook page - www.facebook.com/idealbodiesbds, it says invalid format. I've also tried copy & pasting a link from a CNN article but anything that has a /, it does not take.
This used to work in previous versions.
Also, much more minor, there's a spelling error for Friday under Profiles --> Time Range:
Kind regards,
Nicôle

Hi All,
Thank you so much for your valued feedback.
An update on the case:
For the issue that the URL is not accepting the "/" character, it will be supported in the next version, please wait for the new version patiently.
And the spelling error for Friday under Profiles would be corrected in the next version as well. Sorry for any inconvenience caused!
Thank you for the support and attention on TP-Link products.
Update:
This has been fixed in Omada Controller v4.2.4 already, you could download the new version from TP-Link official website.
https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/omada-software-controller/#Controller_Software
Note: if you are using Omada Controller v4.1.5, you can install the newer version Omada SDN Controller v4.2.8 now.

Thank you for your valued feedback.
The promotional URL doesn't support a link with subdividing path, I've forwarded this to the developer who will evaluate it.
