Help for a non techie please.
I work on a construction site, my office is a portacabin.
The pub 50-60m away across the car park has wireless access which I can use, with the landlords consent, to get internet access on my lap top thence onto the companies servers, but only by sitting in a freezing storeroom in the back of the pub.

Now my lady office administrator is starting on site I dont think she will appreciate the storeroom idea.

What can I use, either plugged into the storeroom power supply, or the office power supply, or the lap tops to enable us to work in the office with wireless internet access.

Saw the WA850RE range extender on the back of Web User mag, is this the way to go, or is there another solution.

Thanks in anticipation

THanks Herman and danymarc.

Any other ideas, before I go ahead and try the WA850RE (Not WA830RE sorry).

One thing is that with our laptops being company ones, we cannot change IP address manually, as this wouls excluse us from our company servers ( I believe )

Ta.

i dont think will do the job, u posted my office is a portacabin, the pub 50-60m away across the car park has wireless access reading the specs of WA850RE here http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/?model=TL-WA850RE#over sounds more Miniature size and wall-mounted home extender, and to be true im not even sure TL-WA830RE will be able to do a perfect job, ur the only one that knows the line of sight, u have testing to do.
about we cannot change IP address manually u need to change ip to set up this toys u have no control of the internet provider, u just want to universal repeat internet.
