Model: Archer C2
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 5.0 v0032.0 Build 170207 Rel.49213n

I have one Archer C2 coming off my Virgin modem (in modem only mode). I have another Archer C2 lugged into the first to provide a separate (home office) network.

Frequently (1+ times a month) we find internet speed low. Check on Speedtest and it's around 8 Mb/s.

A reboot of the routers (NOT the Virgin Modem) and the download speed on speedtest goes up to expected 200+ Mb/s.

Getting fed up with this. Only have normal household number of devices on each one.

What can I do to stop this happening.

Reboot of initial router usually fixes this but today the second one had to be done to fix.

Regards

Mike C

Would I be better off with DD-WRT?
