Region : UnitedKingdom
Model : TL-WR1043ND
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 0.6.0 0.11 v000c.0
ISP : O2
Can anyone advise how to port forward in the TP-Link w8970 please? I've been trying to port forward a couple of Foscam CCTV cameras without any success. I've entered all the necessary information into the Virtual Server screen as follows:
Service port: #### (the camera's port)
IP address :##.##.##.## (the camera's internal IP address)
Protocol: TCP or UDP
Status: Enabled
WAN: ipoe_0_101_0_d
Can someone please explain where I've gone wrong?
Many thanks.

Camera is working on local area network. Tp link w8970 is only router on network.
I have also tried canyouseeme.org and it can see the port is open and working.
Cannot understand what more I need to do?

Do I need to do something in Port Triggering or Firewall Rules?

I've just realised what's going wrong - the tp link w8970 doesn't support NAT loopback!!! It works fine outside of my local network, but not obviously inside unless I use the internal ip address.
Does anyone know how to overcome NAT loopback problems on TP-Link routers please?

Yes Jimasek. I can also see it outside, but I have to use the external IP address.
This is my first router that doesn't have NAT loopback. I hope there is a way to solve this loopback issue.
But I'm fine now. I will just have to use to sets of IP addresses for each camera.
