5GHz Connectivity Problem with T2U Plus Dual Band USB Adapter
Hello, I have problem with one of your product, here is my specs as below:
- a D-Link Wireless AC1200 MU‑MIMO Dual‑Band Router - DIR‑842 ( https://eu.dlink.com/ro/ro/products/dir-842-wireless-ac1200-dual-band-gigabit-router?revision=deu_revc1 )
with Hardware is C1 and latest firmware is 3.13.
- a TP-Link T2U Plus Wifi USB Adapter with latest driver Archer T2U plus(UN)_V1_190422_Win (https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-t2u-plus/)
- Windows 10 Pro 64bit build 2004 fresh installation.
All products above were bought properly from authorized store and all branch new.
The problem is the T2U Plus stop SEEING 5Ghz Wifi channel suddenly, all it can see is 2.4Ghz channel. It's really weird that the device worked well months ago.
I did not make any driver update to both D-Link router and TP-Link Wifi adapter.
Till now, all my phones and laptop can connect to 5Ghz channel normally, I event tried to plug T2U Plus to another pc and boom, it can see 5Ghz channel from D-Link !?
I have restored my previous Windows full backup (created by Acronis True Image 2019), or re-install a fresh Windows version but no luck. It's so annoying!
I brought the T2U Plus Wifi adapter to the local store where I bought it for warranty, but they refused to chance new one because it worked fine there, again!?
Can you help me this?
