Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.6 Build 20200902 rel.65591

Two days ago, I updated the router to the newest firmware. Since then (didn't change anything in settings) I've got 2 problems:

  1. My 5GHz Wifi is dropping every 10 seconds for a second or two.

 The 2.4GHz is stable, but I use 5GHz for streaming, so it is a problem for me.

2. The router now broadcasts 2 hidden SSIDs for some reason. I've tried to connect to them and found out that they are basically clones of my default Wifis, the only difference is that they have a "2" in the name.

Note: "Vilda" and "Vilda 2" are 2.4GHz. "Vilda5" and "Vilda5 2" are 5GHz.

Any suggestions? Rebooting didn't help and both guest networks are off.

@popoles

Strange, for me this version finally fixed this problem for me. I've had it since 1.3.0. Each subsequent beta worked fine, and no beta had the same problem. Check ping. Install PingPlotter, or open CMD and type: ping 192.168.0.1 -t, see what ping and whether it is losing packets. I bought a new router and they finally fixed it. Factory reset router, check. Now all I can see is that I'm logging out of Cloud ... :)

These hidden networks are from OneMesh, I heard they had to do the disable option, but I think I heard something wrong because I don't see such an option.

So I tried pinging it and it basically is ~3ms, but every 8 seconds, the ping is 3000+ or Request timed out. Still the same after factory reset.

@popoles

That's right, I also still have this problem, you have to go back to 1.2.1 and wait until it graciously releases the option to disable onemesh, without it there is even nothing to update.

@popoles

Sometimes it works OK, that's why I was confused and I thought they fixed it already, I generally used a different router and now when I connected the tp link I saw what was happening

I just downloaded 1.2.1, can you see the difference?

Sorry for not responding. Where can I get the 1.2.1 version? On the official TP-Link website it says that I can't downgrade past the 1.3.x.
