I was wondering if it is possible to configure a AC1200 as just an WiFi access point by Ethernet connecting it to an "Ethernet over Power" TL-PA9020P to the Router.
What I really want to do is turn off my router's WiFi connection and use only my router's Ethernet to my AC1200.
In order to reach the location of the AC1200, I would need to use a Kit of Ethernet over Power TL-PA9020P.
Is this configuration possible?
The connections are:
Router <-Ethernet-> TL-PA9020P <-AC Power line-> TL-PA9020P <-Ethernet-> AC1200 (WiFi)
Note: the extra benefit would also allow me to physically move the AC1200 where ever I want it.

Well I figured it out myself.
All you need to do is access the AC1200 on your network, if it was already setup as a WiFi Extender, from your router.
Just type in the IP address that the AC1200 is on your router and you are there, then supply password.
You can then change the mode from extender to Access point.  Make sure to connect the AC1200 Ethernet port to your router.
Reboot the AC1200.  Wait a bit and maybe unplug and re-plug the Ethernet cable.
I then turned off the WiFi on my router to test out that I truly have everything working through the Ethernet cable to the Access point.
All the cloning WiFi settings while the AC1200 was a WiFi extender are still there.

By the way, the AC1200 was connected to the Ethernet port of the 'Ethernet over power line' TP-PA9020P while I did the changes with no hiccup.
