AC4000 loses internet, isp router still has Internet

AC4000 loses internet, isp router still has Internet
Once or twice a week the router will randomly drop the Internet connection. Didn't have this issue before when I only had the isp-router.
The Internet led glows red on the TP-Link and green on the isp router. After 10-20 minutes the connection returns. I just came home and the connection is lost and by the time I have finished writing this post the led is back to blue. Thoughts?
