My home is using one Deco M4 + two Deco M3W.

I want to upgrade from M4 to M5 because want to have Anti-virus & Firewall features.

Can I buy M5 (1-pack) for setup as main hub, and add M4R / M3W as nodes?

Some people said M5(1-pack) can only add on existing Deco system.

interesting question. me too i would like to know, and to be more precise, is it possible in AP mode with ethernet backhaul ? as the data are not going to the main, but straight to the WAN, not sure they can be filtered or protected.
