Model: RE650
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello, i have a serious problem with my RE650 extender. This is my third device from the same model that stops working suddenly. The led lights doesn't work, it's completely not working without me knowing the reason. My first one lasted for almost 5 months since May, the second one for two weeks in Sep. yesterday i bought a whole new one. IT ONLY WORKED FOR 7 HOURS!! This is driving me INSANE. I thought maybe the voltage is the problem so I plugged the third one into a special voltage to suit the device's power. Please help me know what's happening and how to solve it. I've tried the reset button but nothing happened. The leds didn't work and the extender didn't start(turn on).

@Abir2090

Good day,

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

May I know where are you located and where did you purchase the RE650?

Did all 3 RE650s use to have the same issueNo any LED lights on the extender and reset with no response; or LED lights lit up as normal but no internet and reset with no response?

And may I know the model number of your home router as well?

Thanks a lot for your time and patience.

Waiting for your reply.

@Solla-topee

I live in Oman, I’ve purchased the RE650 from a local electronics business branch called E-PHONE. Yes, all of the 3 extenders had the same problem, no led lights on, no response when i press the power thing, nothing. The only thing that went different is the duration of functioning. The first one lasted almost 4 months, the 2nd for two weeks, the third one for 7 hours only! My original 2.4Hz router is from a local telecom company called Omantel. It is a D-Link router model: DSL-2750E
