Multiple AP's on one BT Home Hub3 router
Region : UnitedKingdom
Model : TL-WA901ND
Hardware Version : V2
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I am looking to install 3 or 4 TL-WA901ND AP's to a BT home Hub3 router to create a wireless network in a large very old building over 4 floors, where, in places, some of the walls are almost 3' thick stone. I have mapped the building with ekahau heat mapper, so have a good idea of AP positioning.
Has anyone tried this i.e. connecting more than one AP to a BT home Hub3 router and any tips on configuration? I was planning on configuring as repeater/extenders, all on the same channel using WPA2 encryption. I cannot see anything on the TP-Link web indicating this cannot be done.
Has anybody had any experience of doing this?
Thanks very much for any suggestions or tips you could give me.
