Model: Adapter
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: NA

For old laptop which's TP Link wireless adapter does not connect to 5 ghz Network after windows update (simple method to solve the problem)

1) unplugged all usb devices such as mouse, external keyboard, usb disk...,etc also including the TP Link wireless adapter

2) uninstalled the internal laptop wireless wifi adapter temporarily on device manager

3) restarting the windows and then plug in the TP Link wireless adapter again

If the above method is succeeded, the 5ghz wireless network will be connected automatically. Good luck!
