Recently I was looking at wifi expansion cards for PC and I see that the verbiage used to describe them is not dissimilar to that used for wifi routers.

So I was wondering if a dual-band wifi expansion card could present itself as two network adapters to the OS.  One for 802.11ac and one for 802.11n for example.  And then be able to have both of them active at the same time.  (Is it even necessary for it to be dual-band?)

Do TP-Link expansion cards support this kind of thing?  Can anyone point me to any documentation?
