Main deco 2nd port not working as output

I'm using Deco M5. I have my main Deco connected to my modem at 1 port, and the other port I want to use it to connect the DVR box for my home's CCTV system. After connecting the main Deco and DVR with an ethernet cable, the DVR is still unable to get Internet access (DVR device name not even showing up in the Deco app). I tried connecting it to a satellite Deco unit and it worked, but my modem and DVR are positioned in a way that the DVR MUST be connected to the main Deco. I tried using two ethernet cables and a TP-Link ethernet switch but it's still not working. I also tried connecting a laptop to the main Deco 2nd port via ethernet cable to see if I can get a wired Internet connection, and it doesn't work as well. But if I connect my laptop to a satellite Deco port, it works!
It seems that the main Deco is only able to receive Internet and not give it. Anyone have a solution?
