Model: Archer C1200
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 3.16.0 0.9.1 v6015.0

I have recently purchased a TP link router, Archer C5 c1200 v4 and facing the auto disconnect/ restart issue often.

The router automatically reboots randomly and takes upto 1-2 mins to reconnect. Can anybody help resolve the issue please?

Check if the router overheats. You can search through the logs for more details during the reboot event.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

Still, the logs would provide valuable information about the issue.

Wireless settings :

It could be for many reasons. As a start check your wireless settings, I edited my last post. Make similar settings for the 5GHz band (just for mode use a/n//ac or n/ac mixed).

If the issue still persists try:

Wireless 2.4GHz ->channel:11 and Channel Width:40MHz, Region: <your region>

Wireless 5GHz ->channel:44 and Channel Width:40MHz, Region: <your region>

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".
