Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.6 Build 20200902 rel.65591(4555)

Hello I have a problem with Archer C6 v2.0. I got random drop down connection Some times it happens twice in  minutes or one at 4-5 hours it is just randomly. I have last firmware. I lost connection to both ( wired and wifi connection). In Log system i found a warning on DHCP , On the ISP modem i still have internet, I check it myself and also I call them and they told me that i have no disconnect for last 48 hours. I have TP linked connected with Dinamic ip to the ISP modem. and i receive in log message ( when my net goes down) a warning on DHCP send release ip 192.168.1.2.

I really need to solve this,I tried different solution last 4-5 days but still can;t solve this.

Thanks,
Adrian

Try to set your C6 router WAN (internet) interface with static IP (for example 192.168.1.2) and see if that helps.

@Ivaylo

Do you mean on my personal router to set wired and wifi connections with static ip, to stop them let a dhcp ip? I sad that i have a modem from IPS which work as a router and my personal router which is connected as Dynamic ip to the demo. You say to set static ip on my personal router were my pc is wired to and for devices which are conncted to my own router right?

I was saying that you could try to set a static IP on Archer C6 WAN interface and that's it. That way you can isolate if the DHCP lease time of the ISP modem is causing the issue.

I assume your C6 is working in Router mode (not in AP mode) ?

@Ivaylo

The modem router from IPS is still working like a router ( wire + wifi)

My Own router still working as a router(wirte + wifi) and it is connected on LAN 1 from modem IPS. It is connected to it with dynamic IP  and share connection on wire on two pc  and some wifi devices( laptops and phones) Idk if I explain perfectly my situation, ask me if something it's confusing

If the ISP modem is in router mode, I would suggest you to set your C6 router in AP mode with a static IP LAN address. That way you can avoid the double NAT in your network and extend its wireless coverage. You can refer to this document for the configuration.

Yes, you would be able to have wired/wireless internet via C6 in AP mode, just follow the link I sent: https://www.tp-link.com/ae/support/faq/2066/

@Ivaylo  OK thanks, ill try this. But i have one more questions for the moment. In configuretion in DHCP there is a leased time. Maybe it affects my connection somehow ( when it get drop) I mean maybe when some device need other ip. It must reset every devices?

 Also if i still have problems can i reach you somehow to help me to sovle this? Thanks
