I must really compliment the changes.

with the 3/20 firmware, the router is online for 11 days now!!, without reset. I live together
with 9 students in a home. All use smartphones, tablets, notebooks wired and wifi, girl uses
wifi 5ghz on her mac. It's amazing. I just got a download of 8 mb/sec down from bittorrent.
Well its not the max i ever got. But i am not unhappy, especially cause its so much more stable.

Well i have ziggo 120/10 mbps. Offcourse 8 mbps is not really impressive.
But a good begin. Hopefully the next firmware will use all of the power of this router.

Hello everybody!
After upgrading to latest firmware version I'm having lots of problems with samba share. I've got a 1TB hard disk connected to USB1 port, but after upgrading it is showing as a 2TB volume in windows and mac computers in my lan. However it is shown with correct size (and disk usage) in web admin settings. Sometimes when I ask for volume properties it appears to have an incoherent used size as shown on this picture:

My problems start when I try to connect to this volume to make backups of my computers and they randomly stop at 1 to 5 minutes from the beginning. This issue didn't happen with latest version of firmware (the one dated at 2012) Have someone got that firmware version so I can test it is related to new upgrade? Thanks in adavance :)

No, not the firmware, but the developers responsible for bug fixes...

Firmware: 3.14.3 Build 130320 Rel.39025n works fine.
I observed Transmission for Mac has certain problems with slowing down letancy even with a single download at slow speed and a merely a handful of peers (less than 10Kb/s upload and download with less than 10 total connected peers).
I used uTorrent as my BitTorrent client with the same torrent and everything is sorted.
I can achieve 600Kb/s download with 30+ peers for multiple torrents while browsing the Web without problems on a 8Mbit ADSL line in Hong Kong.
To optimize performance, look into uTorrent forum for tips to tweak the settings in uTorrent for its max peers.

Already discarded this firmware and switch into a factory converted to dd-wrt build. So much more stable.

I have already done the same than kuronie. I know this denies the warranty, but the difference is huge in terms of performance and stability. Now, my hard drive is showing with the correct size and samba is working also pretty good.

I hope some day TP-Link releases a good firmware or almost something usable.
