Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20200716 rel.84595(5553)

My MSI mainboard on the PC has 2 ethernet ports can i use link aggregation in the same way as described here for a NAS, just i will use the 2 ports on my PC : https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1583/

Does anybody use it with dual ethernetr ports and MSI board, if so will link aggregation cause problems with MSI Killer ethernet Controll centre ?

Yes, you can. Being a NAS is just an example. Just keep in mind that the TP-Link products support only L2 link aggregation. That means if you have to use the MSI MB with LAGG, then you should configure Static Link Aggregation.

@Ivaylo Thanks for the reply.

Is link agregation the same as bridging 2 ethernet connetions to become 1.

I have no idea if my MB supports  LAGG or now .

I see only a link agregation on or off setting where do i set it to be a Static Link Aggregation --- do u mean i need to reserve lan port 1 and 2 ?

Would apprecioate if you can clarify in newbie language.

Thanks

Yes, that's right - they will load balance and will provide you theoretically a single 2 gbps connection to your device. In your router for example set port 1&2 as members of LAGG and enable it. In your MB manual you should see if the MB supports LAGG - if it has 2 LAN ports then probably it does. The you have to find (MB maual) if it needs any special application for setting up the LAGG, if yes, then install it. In its settings you have to configure the LAGG - static LAGG.
