Hi Community

I need some help please.  Currently my internet access is via a cable (HFC) modem via an ethernet out into my TPLink Router.  ISSUE: My cable internet will be down for some weeks for network upgrades ... SO ... how can I access my 3G/4G/LTE data via an appropriate modem and connect it to my TPLink Router?  This will be much easier than buying a whole new router/modem and rebuilding my whole home network?  Can anyone lead me to a stand-alone 3G/4G/LTE modem with an ethernet out that I can connect to my current router INTERNET in?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Something like this device maybe.

@Ivaylo ... this device is only wifi router without 3G/4G/LTE modem (USB Modem is needed).

I am trying to find a stand-alone 3G/4G/LTE modem with ethernet connection that I can plug into my Archer router instead of the output of the cable modem.

@Mike.Sydney

Yes, that's it, I wrongly assumed that you already have 4G USB dongle (modem) - the mobile operators gave them for free if you subscribe for data plan with a separate SIM card.

Combined with the device I mentioned, would have solved your problem.

I don't believe TP-Link have the device you are after.

There is a Netgear 4G modem with ethernet port in Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-LTE-Modem-Broadband-Connection/dp/B01N5ASNTE
