Hello,

I am experiencing an issue since I bought my new laptop.I connect to the Internet with Windows 8 and TL-WR1043ND.My issue is that ever since I installed the printer utility from the site I hear an ON/OFF sound in my speaker randomly and I can not figure out what`s wrong.I think it`s trying to search for my printer but it it off.Also wi-fi disconnects randomly ever since this application was installed.What can I do to fix this issue.Computer works fine without the application.There is no report about this issue in the Event Viewer.

How it relate with tp-link device? I think that is problem with printer drivers.

Thank you for the response,I recorded the sound I experience with my phone.Everything is on the link below.Listen to the sound from the video clip and interesting is that at the end of the video when I click on Device Manager when it goes ON/OFF the list does a refresh which to me means that it`s like a turn off/on on a device,but the list is the same as before.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Have no idea. I don't install any application from manufacturer. Maybe this is problem with application compatibility.

wr842nd router printer utility problem

Hi !

I have same problem with router model: wr842nd
after instaliing printer utility on windows 8, it doesn't detect any printer
starts to disconnect wireless network radomly with an windows connect/ disconnect sound
like pulling out and in an uSB device.

reinstall, uninstall, put v1, v2 still doesn't work

on my wife computer windows 7 works perfectly


anyone experienced this issue ? find any solutions ???!

Try if the problem can be sloved in the same way.
