EAP230-wall shows no clients, no channels, no traffic
Hey community,
i ran for months 3 EAP115-Wall extenders in my house.
Absolutely perfect performance and all specs were shwon in the Omada Control App (v. 3.2.10)
Yesterday i bought the next generation (eap230-wall) - i replaced the eap115 and everything works fine.
But now the controll app shows that there are NO clients connect, no Traffic, no chanels.....but fpr regulation and other reasons i need these
statistics.
Can anybody help me out!?
THX a lot
Martin

Finally i got it worked - now i have updated EAP115-Wall in the same 4.X Controller as the newest EAP230-Wall
The procedure is:
1. To update the EAP115-Wall you MUST have installed the latest 3.2.10 Omada Controller (with the 4.x it does not work)
2. You have to download and install the latest driver manually because the 3.2.10 Controller says the driver is "up to date"

3. after you have updated all the older EAP115-Wall units you have to backup the settings
4. DEINSTALL the Omada Controller 3.X
5. Install the Omada Controller 4.X
6. Use the Backup file from 3. for Restore
7. IGNORE ALL Error messages!
8. Auto Adopt all Units

The EAP230-Wall needs to work with the Omada Controller V4.1.5 or above.

Here is a related FAQ for your reference. Why my Omada controller cannot manage the latest EAP

yep - iknow about the EAP230 Wall and that they only work with the newest controller.
The main problem are now the older EAP115-Wall.
The FAQ say that they are able to coomunicate with the latest Omada Controller .
But when i install the latest controller the Controller says thet the 115 have to be updated - but the newset update wont work.
I dont get them updated...
I will post the actuel firmware of the 115 in the next hours here..
Regards
MArtin
