Model: Archer AX1500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20201116 Rel. 57022(5553)

This is the hardware version I have - it shows: Archer AX10 v1.20

My question is simple:

I currently have a FIOS G1100 router (came with the install) - and want to replace it with the AX1500.

The question is: The FOS router seems to have significant security features in the device console

Does the AX1500 provide protection/security to my network from intrusion, etc. both on the hardwired and wireless access?  I see some basic entries, but nothing in depth.

I've looked at reviews and online at the specs, but it does not specifically address this (at least not that I am understanding)

And maybe I am just not looking ata robust enough device w/ the AX1500

Any input is appreciated.

Thank you

@J.J.A.

Here you can browse the AX1500 web interface and see if that what's implemented suits you.

Thank you very much - I know how to look at those settings - I am not knowledgeable enough to understand the details - the question simply is - does this router provide a good level of security to everything that is connected behind it (whether wireless or hardwired). and.or what is considered BETTER security in a router?

As a simple answer to your question I would say - I would use a dedicated firewall device before my router.

Here some info about the router security.
