Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20200714 rel.18254 (5553)

i live in a home with a number of rooms so i decided to get a AX50 and AX6000.

the fibre point is plugged into the AX50 and the AX6000 i intend to use as router within the network.

i am unable to use ip search tools to find my foscam cameras with these new routers.

even when plugged in direct to same router as my laptop, my synology surveillance station cannot detect the ip camera to add it.

when trying to detect wireless mode, i switched out the 5ghz radio and yet it cannot connect wirelessly.

can someone please help me?

@Ivaylo

Thanks for replying.

I've managed to fix the issue. I had to convert the ax6000 to an AP for the camera to be able to log onto the wireless network.

Also, I had to hard reset the camera to "forget" its previous settings.

Whole process was a "long and technical" one... Maybe because my camera system is quite dated (almost 4 years old). Most other camera systems are really easy nowadays with qrcode scanning etc.

@Crackz

For the wireless part try these settings:

Test wireless connection to see if that helps.

Update your wireless card drivers to the latest.

I couldn't catch your network topology, can you explain in more details how these two routers are connected ?

Yeah, I know. I have myself a couple of these installed. But changing the router with AX capable one, configured with the same wireless settings as the old router, they(cameras) connected without an issue.
